Le Programme — 36 Weeks
A carefully structured programme that builds steadily from September through to the Leaving Cert in June. Every week has a purpose.
Phase 1 — Sept to Oct
Foundations — introducing yourself, family, home, school and your typical day. Le Document chosen in Week 2. Passé composé and imparfait covered.
Phase 2 — Nov to Dec
Written skills — Le Journal, Le Récit, Essay Writing x2, Email Writing, Aural Technique. Advanced grammar: Subjonctif, Impératif & Conditionnel. Fully mock-ready before Christmas.
Phase 3 — Jan to Feb
Oral intensive — every topic covered in depth: family, house, school, friends, future, hobbies, holidays. Grammar Tense Toolkit for the oral.
Phase 4 — March
Final oral preparation — Le Document, Mock Oral, confidence and pronunciation tips. One-to-one workshops available the weekend of the oral exams.
Phase 5 — Apr to May
Written paper intensive — grammar revision, comprehension, essay revision, aural strategy, Journal & Récit revision. Full paper walkthrough from an SEC corrector.
June — Leaving Cert
